Yan Yangchu (1890-1990), Famous
educator, sociologist. He was mainly engaged in civilian
education and social reform. He advocated "illiterate,
hardworking, entertainment, sanitation and citizen"
education. He founded China Civilian Education Promotion
Committee to promote civilian education in Changsha, Dingxian,
Beibei of China and Philippine, Thailand, Guatemala. |
